Final Stretch has proudly been presenting Waseca Triathlon since 2010. These races will get you out in the country, where you can see plenty of rural Minnesota. You will start and finish at the beautiful Clear Lake Park in Waseca. The event has evolved into the Waseca Sprint Triathlon, which now includes a Super Sprint event which is a distance for everyone. The Super Sprint consists of a 200 yard swim, 6 mile bike, and 2 mile run and is a great opportunity to tri your hand at multisports! To encourage youth participation we have a discount for all athletes 19 and under!

"Waseca Triathlon is the perfect event to showcase one of Minnesota’s best small towns. The venue, Clear Lake Park, is one of the city’s many fantastic parks. With its large grassy area filled with old oak trees, spacious sandy beach, and clear swim area, it makes for a perfect triathlon space. It's tough to say what aspect of the race I enjoy the most, the spacious transition area, the smooth roads for cycling, the scenic run that hugs beautiful Clear Lake, or the incredible local support and volunteers. In addition to all of that, for post-race you get to spend time in downtown Waseca and see first-hand what makes this town so vibrant: dozens of historic homes, unique local restaurants, golf courses, Waseca Water Park, fishing, and so much more. I cannot imagine leaving this race without having a great experience."

2017 Race Shirt:
Every participant will recieve a shirt at packet pick-up.
Race Awards:
Awards will be given to the top three male and female runners in each age category: 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Up. There will also be awards for the top 3 overall male and female athletes, top 3 relay teams, top 3 Clydesdales, and top 3 Athenas. The award ceremony will begin after the race concludes. Must be present to win.
Parking:
There is plenty of parking on the streets around Clear Lake Park in Waseca. There will be no parking in the Clear Lake Parking lot.
